It’s been another fantastic season at Milton Park Bowling Club, with some fierce battles on the green, some very tight scorelines, and just a little bit of friendly banter along the way. Now that the dust has settled (and the bowls have stopped rolling), we’re delighted to announce our 2025 Club Competition winners:

🏆 Club Champion – Chris Chamberlain
Chris proved once again that calm heads and accurate draws win the day. A worthy champion and the man to beat next year — no pressure, Chris!

🥇 Handicap Winner – Tony Hall
Tony showed that when it comes to making the most of a head start, he’s the master. A clever bit of tactical play and some top-notch bowling saw him lift the title.

🎯 2-Wood Singles – Steve Fell
With only two woods in hand, Steve still managed to make them count. Rumour has it he could hit the jack blindfolded (we won’t test that theory just yet).

👫 Pairs Winners – Steve Watt & Lynda Gibbs
Steve and Lynda proved that teamwork makes the dream work. A great partnership, plenty of laughs along the way, and some cracking shots to seal the win.

👴 Over Sixties – Dave Meyer
Experience triumphed once more as Dave rolled his way to victory. Some say he’s got more years on the green than the grass itself!

👏 Well done to all our winners, and of course to everyone who took part. The spirit of the club is about more than just lifting trophies — it’s about the camaraderie, the enjoyment, and occasionally the good-natured excuses when a wood goes astray.
